Mormons truly believe in “live and let live.”\u00a0There is literally documented\u00a0proof of this apparent little known fact.<\/p>\n

The official Latter Day Saint Article of Faith #11 of 13 reads as follows:<\/p>\n

“We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.”<\/p>\n

What this means to me is that Mormons\u00a0prefer to believe and worship in their\u00a0own way, without being chided, heckled, and generally made to feel all bad about themselves. Furthermore, their faith requires them to respect and support the rights of how other folks exercise their beliefs.<\/p>\n

This sounds like an extremely simple and reasonable creed to follow, and I can’t imagine anyone having a problem with it. But,\u00a0many do, some\u00a0to the\u00a0extreme. It’s interesting how many people have let themselves become\u00a0completely consumed in their dislike for the Mormon Church!\u00a0There are many who have turned their dislike into\u00a0its\u00a0own full scale cause — especially\u00a0the ones who were once members themselves,\u00a0who left the church for whatever reason. They spend much of their time anxiously engaged in fighting against Mormons and the LDS Church. I’ve noticed also, that many of these people are mean, scathing,<\/span>\u00a0and vicious in the words they use,\u00a0as if their ultimate goal is to be\u00a0as hurtful as possible toward\u00a0the Mormons,\u00a0while all along\u00a0proclaiming their\u00a0own Christianity.<\/p>\n

I mean seriously — if\u00a0you don’t like the Mormon\u00a0faith, then don’t subscribe\u00a0to it. If you were<\/em> once a Mormon and left the fold,\u00a0saw the light and got out, managed to escape, finally became enlightened and liberated, or however you wish to describe it, then fine,\u00a0be gone, and have a nice life, the rest of the Mormons wish you much joy and happiness in your new life because once again —\u00a0they claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of\u00a0their own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.” To me,\u00a0this is, in fact a very cool perspective.<\/p>\n
